Mazingira yetu organization is a community based organization located in Nairobi (Kenya). The Organisation is involved in water and sanitation projects, community mobilization and trainings, environment education and communication and ecosystem restoration.

Sam dindi is the Director Planning and Community mobilization at Mazingira Yetu Organisation. Sam’s work includes training the community on issues related to environment conservation, sanitation and life skills and planning for activities and events within Mazingira Yetu Organisation.
Sam believes that we are never to small to make an impact in one’s career or locality they live in. One has to believe that they have what it takes to overcome all the obstacles ahead of them no matter how big or small.

Sam dindi has been featured by CNN, BBC, Radio France International and Deutsche Welle TV and radio. In 2019 he received the Head of States Commendation (HSC) from the President of the Republic of Kenya and the IUCN CEC Excellence Award 2019: Eastern and Southern Africa.
