Urban Planning
Youth Groups from refugee and host communities undertake photography training and are assigned to follow the evolution of their fast urbanizing environment. The publication includes their visual observations focused on 5 categories: shelter, transport, economy, public space and environment. The captions represent clear interpretation of what means being settled for the Turkana Youth: elements such as public amenities, public space, economy, and human activity seem to have a high importance in making people settled.
